Perfect Park Day

Fall is here (at least for a few days!) and the weather is JUST PERFECT to play at the park. Here are a few pics or Jax and his buddies (and his sis, the one, lone girl) this week at our playdate!

Fun is Getting Easier!

Jaxon is getting so big it is unbelieveable! We can't believe he is over a year and a half old. LIFE IS GETTING FUN! Having both kids so close together (less than 16 months apart) has been a blessing, but was downright HARD WORK for this Momma and Daddy. Now of course there is fighting, back talk, all the other stuff that comes with having a 19 and 35 month old, but OHHHHHHH how nice it is that the kids can hold each others hands in the parking lot, climb in and out of the carseats themselves, reach thier own drink cups, wipe their own faces after a meal, very few diapers these days, play interactive games with each other, put on their own shoes (sometimes), the list goes on and on. For what seems like forever we have had a baby in the house (or two babies), now with Jaxon's time as a baby coming to a close we are entering a "Big Kid World" and loving it! When thinking about our busy week of playdates and fun I can look back to last year at this time and think that much "play" in one week would have been exhausting! Now it is becoming a blast for Momma and both kids and the "norm" to go, go, go! So glad it has "gotten easier"! Soaking up every minute of fun before they grow up right before my eyes!

Another Miscommunication!

A Jaxon Funny...

Today Jaxon was trying to play with Kinley's Baby Emily doll and she was upset by it so I asked Jaxon, "Hey buddy, where is your Elmo? You need to get your Elmo!" (it was the closest "stuff animal" around) He didn't notice the Elmo at all, but instead got so excited and was so proud to show me his ELBOW, patting it over and over and yelling "Ebo, Ebo, Ebo". Newflash for Momma, Jax knows where his elbow is!
