2 Months (a little late)

Jaxon had a his two month check up today. He is 11 lbs 1 oz (24%) and 24 inches long (78%). Still very long and lean! Momma is ready for him to get a little chub! He laid on his stomach holding his head up, cooed (sp?) and smiled for the doc, that is all we can report at this age - nothing too exciting yet! The doc said that was perfect for his age. He got 3 shots today and cried loud until Momma got him picked up and put back in the sling.

Jaxon Eats Cereal!

Jaxon had rice cereal for the first time Monday night. He did really well and ate everything Momma had in the bowl (only one tablespoon). Here is a short video of our "big boy" on Mon night! He has now had it every night this week and is doing great!

Jaxon's 1st Trip to Kansas!

Jaxon made his first trip to Kansas to visit TONS of family and friends. He was quite a trooper the whole week and a half we were there! Here are a few pics of some of the people he spent time with while staying at Gma and Gpa's house!

Smiles!

Jaxon started smiling (for real, I know some people count the starring off into space smiles, Momma won't count those) at us at around 6 weeks. Now at 8 weeks his smiles, coos, and laughs are in full swing!

1st Zoo Trip!

Jaxon's 1st Zoo trip was to the Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichta with Momma, Kinley, Gma Oakley, Aunt Jen, Brennan, Aunt Krista, Kate, AuntKayla, and Rachel, and Uncle Josh.

Jaxon's 1st Flight!

Jaxon's first flight was on the Continental plane from Houston to Wichita with Momma and Kinley. He must be world's best traveler, he did not cry once the entire trip (even when Momma had to change him mid-flight do to a blowout diaper that was all over his and Momma's pants!). He did great, sleeping in the sling most of the trip and getting out and laying flat Momma's lap with Kinley pushing him! :)

More Visitors!

Aunt Krista, Aunt Kayla, Kate and Rachel came to see Jaxon this weekend. We spent the weekend shopping, going to the park, shopping some more, playing in the backyard, and just hanging out. We were sad to have them leave on Tuesday!


"I wish Brennan were here, maybe we could catch a ball game or wrestle in the yard, then I wouldn't have to go shopping again with all the girls!"
