Soccer Spring 2012 Team Philadelphia

This year we made a bold move and had Jaxon play on Kinley's soccer team. He wanted to play and when we signed Kinley up we asked if he could "play up" and register for a spot on her team. The guy said they sometimes don't let younger kids play because they are too small and might get trampled by the older kids. He took one look at Jaxon and decided that probably WOULD NOT be a problem! :) Jaxon joined the team and was seriously unbelievably GOOD!!! He wasn't quite as fast as his sis, but had the best feet of the team and was OH SO COMPETITIVE!!! He had little trouble in the first 3 games because he wasn't old "mentally tough" enough to understand exactly why it was ok for someone to "beat" him or take the ball which would result in a crying meltdown, but he finally got that under control and realized it was a good thing to go and "take back" the ball to go and score! He also tackled his sis a few times as she was more competition for him than anyone on any other teams. Proud of our little athlete and his ability to "keep up" with the big kids. Bragging Momma Alert... K was better than him, but he was barely behind her and for sure second best on our team! :)

We played with a goalie sometimes and without one other times, Jax LOVED no goalie!
