Jaxon's 1st Thanksgiving!

With how much this boy loves to eat you all know he LOVED the Thanksgiving Holiday! He visited both sets of Grandparents, two sets of Greatgrandparents, and all of his cousins. He was a great little traveler and had fun with all our adventures during the week.

4th Tooth!

Top right (Nov 23, 2009) followed just after top left! Our little guy now has his front 4 teeth!

9 Month Check UP!

Jaxon is now 9 months and is already so grown up. We said it is weird that this is his 1st holiday season and he seems more like a toddler than a baby. He needs to take Zyrtec and have his eczema treated just like his big sis, but other than that we have a happy, healthy boy! Did we mention our little guy is a chunk??? He weighs 24 lbs 1 oz (92%) and is 28 3/4 inches tall (68%). Right now he still a little fat boy! :) Gma Kerry claims he is built exactly like his daddy at this age so maybe we'll look forward to a long and lean guy later on in life! This month he isn't doing much that he wasn't already doing last month, maybe a little more mimicking, and just moving faster and faster. He still eats everything we will let him and seems to love feeding himself, although there are still times he appreciates the help and likes to be "served"! His balance is amazing! No one can believe he is only 9 months and stands and cruises like he does. Verbally he seems right on track, but not ahead in his talking - Mama and Dada are pretty much his only "real" words. He has been a really "rough" baby as he has been really fussy, but now that he can move on his on and entertain himself he seems to be much happier, which is soooo much easier on Momma and Daddy! Enjoying the last couple months of Jaxon being a baby, we know his 1st birthday is just around the corner!

8 Month Post (a little late)!

Momma is way behind on the 8th month post, but decided we better at least post a few pics/notes before Jax turns 9 months!

New things at 8 months:

Jax is eating us out of house and home, we know his big sis eats a ton, but he is giving her some good competition already!

His sleeping habits are improving, he goes down now on his own without being fed a bottle or screaming most of the time!

He cruises everywhere and is an amazing climber - he gets where he wants when he wants and he thinks NO ONE is going to stop him.

He pulls up to standing position or likes to be put down to stand and stands comfortably for long periods of time, but he does not walk, and rarely stands up from sitting position on his own from the center of the room.

Some of his favorite things to do right now are swinging, dancing (while he sits), patting his mouth while saying "ahhhhhhh" to make a funny noise, and attacking anything and everything that Kinley is playing with. She used to torture him, now he's learned to torture her!

We'll try to post more and on time for 9 months!
