Kansas Fun!

A couple of weeks ago we made a trip to Kansas! Here are some fun memories from this trip!

1. This is the 1st "driving" trip Momma made with both kiddos (the 3 of us flew one other time without Daddy)
2. Grandma Oakley turned 50 and all her grandbabies were there to celebrate, along with many other family members and friends!
3. K and J got to go to Brennan's Elmo Birthday Party!
4. Jaxon got to meet his cousin Tegan for the 1st time, she was just born and in the hospital where he could not go in to meet her in Dec.
5. Jax had the best time ever with his cousins at the Zoo!
6. The question of the week from everyone was - WOW, how much does he weigh? (He must have grown alot since Xmas!)
7. The statement of the week from EVERYONE - WOW, he looks exactly like his Grandpa Oakley! It is kinda wierd cause Momma can see it in his dark skin, light hair and light eyes, just like Gpa. Great Granny even said she looked at Jax as she came in the house and his little curls looked just like Gpa's as a baby!

Another Tooth!

Jax got another bottom tooth on the right side today!

6th Tooth!

Tonight Jax's 1st molar tooth broke thru! It is on the top right side and he let us know on the way to church just how miserable he felt! :) He only has 6 teeth (5 and a half with the front one he knocked back in that is only half way back) so he hasn't had much experience in this teething business and we think he might prefer knocking them out (or in) rather than teething more into his mouth!

Going to the Lake!

A couple of weeks ago Jax got to go to Austin for a great trip to the Alarid Lake House! We had a great time hanging out, boating, fishing, playing games, eating, eating, and eating some more (Jax's favorite pastime). A big thanks to Mr. Eric and Ms. Rachel for inviting us along!
