Go Mavs!

Last week Gpa Coleman's neighbor offered him 4 free tickets to the NBA Finals in Dallas. It just so happens that they Mavs are Daddy's favorite team so we all packed up and made a quick trip to Tyler so Daddy could go to the game with Gpa, Uncle Troy, and Tucker. We left in such a rush, momma forgot her camera, but Gma took a few to document the trip! :) I guess we should also mention that tthe Mavs lost the game that night but went on win the NBA Finals 2011!

We think Jax ate more blueberries than he picked!

Momma with the vase the kids made for Mother's Day while they stayed in Tyler a few weeks back. The glaze wasn't finished so they couldn't bring it home for Mother's Day, so they kept a secret about the present at Gma Kerry's house!

VBS 2011!

A huge thanks to Ms. Jill for organizing activities for the little kids at VBS last week. VBS was a great success and Jax had a great time!

Sea World - Trip #2

Jaxon got to go on a trip this week with Momma and Daddy all by himself. Kinley was visiting in KS with Gma and Gpa Oakley and all the cousins while Jax came with us to Sea World with our friends, the Dawsons. We had a wonderful time, this place is perfect for toddlers and Jax and Jordan had a blast seeing the shows, riding the rides, playing in the splash areas and trying out the Lost Lagoon water park. The highlight of Jaxon's trip was his trip down the BIG SLIDES all by himself. We read a sign that said anyone under 48 inches had to wear a life vest to go down the giant tube slides, but we had no idea that child in the lifevest had to go down on his/her own tube. Well, after telling Jax he was gonna get to do it, it was hardly fair to change our mind and tell him he was too little so we let him go alone (preparing ourselves to see a tube flying down the slide with Jax sliding down seperately in a panic). To our surprise, and every lifeguard's and guest's in the area, Jax came down riding his tube and yelling, "Do it again, I want to DO IT AGAIN!" So he did! It was his favorite ride and we are proud of our big, strong, brave 2 year old who road the slide all by himself!
