2 Year STATS!

Height: 36 in (89%)
Weight: 36 lbs (99%)

We've still got one big boy on on our hands! Today we went to visit Dr. Edralin for Jaxon's 2 year check up. He is doing great in all areas and even impressed the nurses by counting to 11 for them. We laugh because he always has to add a loud "ELEVEN" on the end of counting to ten!

At age two Jaxon can sing most of his ABCs (with a few mix ups here and there), he can count to 10 (or 11), knows his colors, is starting to recognize some of his letters and is now really talking a bunch!

He LOVES to sing, dance, show his muscles, hit his t-ball with Daddy, play with any ball, line up cars and trucks, build towers (and tear them down) with mega blocks, and he can't get enough of anything to do with animals - live, play, at the zoo, out the car window or all of his toy animials - he loves to name them make their sounds and take care of them. It is funny to see this big, rough boy be so nurturing to his toy animals!

Jax thinks he can keep up with Kinley, but she has a slightly different opinion! :) It has been so much fun to get to see them play and interact and also is great to know they can entertain each other. The downside to all the interaction is the fighting and now that Jax can talk, the arguing, but we still wouldn't trade it for anything!

Momma and Daddy love you Jaxon and we are so happy to have such a wonderful 2 year old boy!

PS - You also have been trying to tell everyone all week that you are "Tree ike Tinley, not Two!"

PS2 - "YES SIR" is what you yell anytime you think you might be getting in trouble for anything, you think if you yell that then you are being "NICE, NICE, NICE" and you won't get a "SWAT"!

Happy Birthday - Jaxon is TWO!

Jaxon had a wonderful 2nd Birthday! We joked becaused it seemed like the "Birthday" went on and on and on! :) We started with a birthday party at McDonald's with all of his friends on Thursday morning (the day before his birthday) and then that night went to the Klein Ag Fair. On his actual birthday we went to the zoo with Ms. Amanda, Jake and Gma Kerry. That night Gpa Tom came into town and Jaxon opened presents and then went to dinner. And last on Saturday morning we all got up and went to Bouncin Bears. Hopefully we will get some 2 year old pics taken this week or next and also have a "stats" report from Dr. E on Wednesday! Enjoy all the pics from Jaxon's very LONG birthday party!

"Really Mom, how many pics are you gonna take today?"

Ronald cake

A few extras Momma brought to go with the cake.

Jax sure is lucky to have so many great friends!

Although, no one lasted at the table as long as he did! :)

The hamburger and fries were great...

just not as great...

AS THE CAKE!!!

Blowing out candles

"Mom doesn't only take pics, she squeezes me and has other people take pics... when do I get a break?"

Opening presents

A little help from Gpa

So big!

Kinley and Jax both loved the flying Happy Birthday bear

Loving the new truck from Grandmama and Grandpapa

and his new guitar that he can't seem to put down!

Enjoying the Ag Fair!

This is his new pose - some kind of football stance we assume...

The only thing that Jaxon would have enjoyed more would be getting to get in the pins with the pigs! :)

So interesting...

We loved that one of Daddy's students got his goat out for the kids to pet!

The giant bunny at the zoo!

Kinley in the tunnel with the fish!

Jax loving his wagon and his snack!

3 sweet babies, who aren't babies anymore!

Grandma Kerry treated us all to a carousel ride.

Jax's fav part of the zoo is the children'st petting zoo - he could stay here all day!

Look how happy he is!

Jake and Jax, two little prarie dogs!

And this was the best shot I got of all 3 kids together on the birthday zoo trip...

A Lunch With Daddy...

Momma: Jaxon, did you eat lunch with Daddy yet?

Jaxon: Umm, YES

Momma: What did you eat?

Jaxon: TIPS (with a big smile)

Momma: Chips? What else?

Jaxon: Yes, tips, and coookieeees, and tereal - Yummy!

Momma: Well, that's a great lunch - Chips, cookies and cereal.

Time for mommy to get off the computer and go check on Daddy and his ability to fix lunch for the kids! :)

UPDATE: According to Daddy, they have not had lunch yet, but he did give them a snack earlier of some Cookie Crisp cereal and one of the Doritos chips that he was eating. So Jax was telling the truth, all except the fact that it was not his LUNCH! :)

Jax's New Do...

So we've had trouble coming up with ways to "fix" hair that stands straight up on all sides. The solution was a haircut made to stand up straight! Here's a pic of our big boy's new do! :)
