Little Change...

Today Momma was 1 1/2 cm and 60% effaced, that is a little change from last week, but not much. The plan is to head to the hospital early tomorrow morning for an induction! Of course, that could still change if the hospital fills up tonight, but the doctor is 99% sure we will get in just fine - please keep your fingers crossed that we do make it in tomorrow and pray that all goes well (and quickly) with the delivery! :)

Jaxon's Birthday??? - February 18, 2009???

Momma had another appointment yesterday. Dialated to 1 and 50% effaced... ring a bell??? Oh, that is exactly what it was last week!!! No change for Momma! The induction is looking more and more possible! There were a chain of nurse errors yesterday when setting up the induction for Tuesday, Feb 17, as the doctor had asked, so instead the new induction date is Wed, Feb 18 (one week from today). Of course, there is a chance that the hospital could be full, the doctor could have something happen, Momma could go into labor on her own before then, or Momma could be induced and not deliver until the next day (like with Big Sis), but as of now "the plan" is to have Jaxon on the 18th. Momma still has only gained 25 lbs - total (whew...) but has one more week to stay right there to meet the personal goal!

Oh... one other note... Momma's doc was out of town yesterday so we had to see another doctor, when she measured Jaxon (by measuring the outside of Momma's belly) she said, "Well... this is a good sized baby for someone your size!" Hope that doesn't mean he is going to be huge! :)

2 weeks to go!

Momma had another doc appt today. Everything is great - dialated to 1 and 50% effaced. Momma has officially gained 25 lbs (that was the goal, so I guess Jaxon and Momma better not grow anymore in the next two weeks!) :) - j/k! Our little guy should join us 2 weeks from today - we have an induction scheduled for the 17th of February!

Thank you so much for everything you all brought for Jaxon! We've already had so much fun getting things ready for him and can't wait for him to get to use these wonderful gifts!

Another Shower!

Saturday night we had another AMAZING shower for Baby Jaxon. Our good friends Clint and Lindsay Nichols and Craig and Charli Harbin hosted the event and it was wonderful to say the least. We loved all the special details they put in with the "sports" theme and the food was SOOOOO GOOD - way to go Mr. Clint on the grill! :) Thank you to all of the great friends who came to celebrate, we want you to know how much we truly appreciate all of the wonderful gifts you brought for our new little man!

32 Weeks!

Momma had her 32 week check up this week. All is well with Baby Jaxon. He is measuring perfect for his due date on Feb 25. Dr. Chang thinks he wants to induce a week early with Jaxon because of the surprise of his big sis being so much bigger than expected! For those of you who don't know the story... Kinley measured exact for her due date in every ultrasound and tummy measurement and Dr. Chang expected a 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 pound baby. He said at most she was 7lbs 10 oz - HAHAHAHAHAHA! She was 8 lbs 11 oz at birth - noted proudly by Ms. Amanda reading the scale (whole nother story...). Dr. Chang says he doesn't want to be surprised again, and statistically 2nd babies are usually bigger than first... anyway... all that to say we may be looking at meeting our little guy face to face around Feb 18th rather than than the 25th - we'll see how the next month and a half pans out!
