Spring Break 2011 - March Madness!

Jaxon spent the end of spring break watching March Madness basketball games with Daddy. Daddy was super glad they started while he was off! Wish I had a pic of the TWO tvs set up in the living room to maximize the number of games that could be watched at a time, along with the poster sized bracket that was hanging in the kitchen! :) I'm sure as Jax gets older he is gonna enjoy this time of year more and more as he "picks teams" with Daddy!

Spring Break 2011 - Sea World!

Event #3 of Spring Break was our family trip to Sea World, San Antonio - WHAT A BLAST!!! This is the perfect family trip! We left on Tuesday morning and arrived at the park just after 12:00. We stayed the day at the park and then went to the River Walk for dinner. We stayed the night and then got up the next day to spend a second FULL day at Sea World. Momma took the camera along the first day, but not the second, sad to not have pics from Wednesday at the park, but it was nice to not have to worry about keeping track of the camera or if it might get wet. We went to every show except one night show and one day show, watched the feeding of the dolphins, but decided Jax might decide to take a swim with them so we didn't feed them ourselves! :) A highlight of the trip with a 2 and 3 year old was the new Bay of Play - it had kid rides, splash parks, playgrounds, net towers, slides, and of course all the Seasame Street characters to hug, high five, and take pictures with. The kids loved this "playland" just as much as Shampoo (Jaxon) or Shammooose (Kinley)! Such a perfect trip for our family and we are excited to have season passes to go back a couple times this summer and maybe even again in the fall!


Jaxon's so lucky to have such a great Daddy who is such a "family man"!


And a great "big sis" who lets him lay on her on the wagon rides! :)

Spring Break 2011 - Houston Fair/Livestock Show!

Jaxon loved the entire day at the Houston Livestock Show, but his FAVORITE part is to pet ALL the animals in the petting zoo. Here are a few pics I got of him before the camera battery died!

Spring Break 2011 - Gma and Gpa Oakley Come to Town!

Gma and Gpa Oakley didn't get to come into town for Jaxon's birthday party because his two newest cousins, Jordyn and Brody were both born that week. Of course it was sad that they couldn't be here, but instead they got to kick off Spring Break with us for a weekend of fun and relaxation! Jax loved having them here to spend time with him last weekend! Here are a few pics at Bouncin Bears while they were in town!

News to all of us, Jax can now climb the block steps by himself. When we were at Bouncin Bears the weekend of his bday with Gpa and Gma Coleman, he was still needing a boost!
