Best Days of Our Lives!

Jaxon is at a WONDERFUL stage! Momma, Daddy, and Kinley are having soooo much fun with him! It is amazing to watch all that he can do as he turns into a "Big Boy" - here are just a few picture moments we have taken a shot of this week to remember this FUN time! The best thing ever is seeing our two "babies" interact with each other - we hope they are always the best of friends and look out for each other!

He has been able to hold his bottle awhile now, but it is more consistant and now we actually "let" him do it, Momma was worried that if he held it he would miss out on "comfort/cuddle" time with Momma! He still only is "allowed" to do it on his own part of the time! :)

Today Ms. Kay came over to play and have lunch - Jaxon LOVES his Ms. Kay! Look at how relaxed he looks!

5 Months!

Our big boy is now 5 months old! We can't believe how time passes! He is now a little more independent and LOVING it! Momma and Daddy love it too, it makes for a much happier Jaxon now that he can move himself around and sit up! We are anxiously waiting the day he can go from laying to sitting up on his own rather than "yelling" for help and actually crawl rather than scoot because we know he will even be happier!

Other news with our little guy... he LOVES to jump crazily in the johnny-jump-up - we think he's gonna have hops like his Daddy! :) He demands that he has the toy he wants when he wants it! We actually witnessed the first K and J fight this week as he grabbed Kinley's doll's sippy cup from her - of course this didn't fly with big sis, she is THE ONE who gets to do the "taking" of the toys! Oh things are gonna be crazy!

Jaxon also loves to be UP, sitting or standing with us holding him by the hands or on the waist is wonderful - he still loves to cuddle into Momma's shoulder when I hold him, I think he wants to remind me he'll always be my baby... :)

He thinks Kinley and Kirby (dog) are hilarious and does most of his belly laughs for them.

Oh... he does roll both directions now, but only for he past few weeks. It seemed to take him a long time to learn to roll from his back to his tummy.

On to food. He is in full swing of eating now and is performing in suit for a Coleman kid, complete with the screaming when the cereal or baby food is gone. We haven't tried ALL the 1st foods yet, but some that he has tried and LOVED include the follwing: peas, sweet potatos, applesauce, bananas, pears, and green beans. I'm gonna be surprised when we find something he doesn't like, if he's anything like his big sis he will like everything and TONS of it! :)

Hanging with Sam!

On Friday evening Jaxon's friend Sam and his family (Matt, Jen, Anna, and Aunt Jessie) invited our family to go swimming with them. We had a great night hanging out by the pool!

Finding My Feet!

The past few weeks Jaxon has found his feet. It seemed like it took awhile for him to know they were down there (he was over 4 months) but now that he knows they are there, they are the best toys ever! He still hasn't tried to put them in his mouth, but his belly is so big, maybe they just won't reach! :)
