OUCH x 2

Jax is a rough tough boy and we notice it daily! If something is in his way he usually either grabs it with one arm and throws it out of his way or plows through it like it isn't even there. Sometime he falls or bumps into things but you would hardly know it cause he just gets up and plows over something else. He's also the kid that doesn't seem to "hurt" much, he didn't cry at his circumcision, he has only cried a couple of times for shots and even when he does, Momma can just pick him up and hug him and everything seems to be better. All this blab this morning is to lead up to what happened to Jax yesterday. He had his two most painful falls that he has had to this point all in one day!

CRASH #1: Church Nursery - 11:00 am - Jax plows thru the room, falls and either knocks "out" or "in" his front tooth. We will update later about if the tooth is gone or just push up so far in the roof of his mouth we can't see it. Poor little guy screamed for over 15 mintues. 2 other moms, Doc Pam, and Momma tried to stop the massive bleeding and get Jax to relax, finally someone went into the church service and got Daddy. It was the sweetest thing you could ever see when he reached for his Daddy and snuggled his blood face into his shoulder and relaxed! The screaming and bleeding were so bad even Momma was crying - terrible feeling and I know my kids are only almost 1 and 2, but I NEVER want to experience them being anymore hurt than this! Thanks to Doc Kyle coming out and calling his friend who is the oral surgeon and Dr. Pam's calming advice we didn't take Jax to the doc or dentist yesterday afternoon, but will probably take him sometime soon to check to see what we might need to do for the future if our "1 year old" is missing a tooth!

Crash #2: Our Playroom - 4:00 pm - Jax is playing and running over everything in site until he falls into one of Kinley's toys and cuts his eye. He did a nice couple minute scream for this event, although not nearly as bad as the morning fall, he got a nice battle wound from this fall too.

Could this be where the saying "Cruisin for a Bruisin" comes from? I'm so sad for him.....you can just imagine his pain looking at these pictures. I'm so glad we didn't have anything like this happen while you were gone.

Oh my that is aweful. This made me remember one of the scariest moments of Addison's little life. I am glad our little boys are so tough. BTW, Clark likes the balls on the blog. He is sitting here going, balls, balls. Have a great day.
